The "Day of the Dead" is a traditional holiday celebrated throughout Mexico. It focuses on remembering friends and family members who have died. This piece is inspired by the traditional imagery associated with the Day of the Dead celebrations. The skeletal figure wields two six-guns and holds symbols of time and luck within his rib cage. He stands in front of a cross as if crucified, a reference to "All Saint's Day", the Roman Catholic equivalent of Day of the Dead.
