Can Man, is a triumphant figure holding a perfect circular ring overhead. He stands mounted atop a small mountain of metallic trash. The sculpture will be installed in front of the new St. Pete Sanitation Department Headquarters.

The stainless steel ring he holds overhead symbolizes the solidarity of the sanitation workers who came together to overcome inequality and poor working conditions during the sanitation strike of 1968.
