Donald Gialanella - Metal Sculpture

Painted in Turkey, it depicts a Right whale skeleton, within a ghosted body outline.  So named by the whalers who dubbed it the “right” whale to kill as it was slow, full of blubber, and floated when dead, making it easy to tow alongside the ships during the flencing and processing.
