Donald Gialanella - Metal Sculpture

The essence of Santa Monica is embodied in this totemic human icon inspired by the ancient Tree of Life. At the base of the piece is a crescent shaped boat whose mast and rigging run up the center and frame the various stages of  West Coast life ie, flowers and plant life, sea birds, and people.
