The Hungry Pelican is a recycling awareness plastic receptacle that invites interaction through humor and character. The sculpture stands alert with an open beak, ready to “gobble up” cans and bottles. The body reveals collected recyclables, making the act of recycling visible and engaging. Both functional and whimsical, the sculpture transforms waste collection into a participatory experience, encouraging environmental responsibility through curiosity and delight.
