Sedge of Sandhill Cranes

Corten steel, stainless steel. 2022. Client: Baptist Medical Center - Nassau, Jacksonville, FL.

This sedge, or flock, of seventeen Sandhill Cranes are installed in the courtyard that overlooks the hospital’s maternity ward. At one end they are walking on the ground, then some begin to take off as the rest are in full flight.
